Upper Court Holiday Cottages, in Kemerton,  is ideally located for experiencing the Cheltenham Gold Cup. It combines quick access with an escape from the sometimes overcrowded Cheltenham. The cottages are just 7 miles from the racecourse (a 20 minute drive to Cheltenham race course).

The Gold Cup race week captures everything that is great about Jump racing. With the finest horses, jockeys, owners and trainers gathered for one week it always promises high quality racing. 

Cheltenham Gold Cup Race week is the highlight of the racing calendar, which transforms the town into a hub of activity. Accommodation is at a premium. At Upper Court we’ve been a base for horse racing fans for 10 years.

Channel 4 TV have previously used Upper Court as a relaxing location, while having quick access to the race course. Clare Balding and team have been regulars until the change of broadcasters this year. 

 The cottages lend themselves to larger groups of race goers or individual parties (Coach house Cottage sleeps 11 , courtyard sleep 8 and the stables sleeps 5 )  the Dovecote  is ideal for a couple or 2 single people. there are also three very comfortable rooms in the amor 2 four  poster and 1 twin.

Guests have normally brought their own chef but we can book a chef if preferred. The cottages are fully equipped for self catering.  Our local pub, the Crown ,provides excellent racing breakfasts and dinner. We can also provide transport to and from the race course. 

Visitors sometimes enjoy an early morning run to Bredon Hill, a game of tennis or a boat row on the lake.  The newspapers are delivered first thing and wifi  is provided in all the cottages.
