Description

Our Pottery Experience is a great group activity, suitable for guests of all ages and levels of experience. It is a perfect option for a family, as this experience engages everyone, from the youngest to the less young, with an opportunity to get messy and have fun. Also ideal for friend groups looking for a creative, unique, and fun alternative to usual holiday activities.

We also cater to hen dos and stag parties, corporate team building, and groups of young students.

Included in the price

All sessions begin with a chance to throw on the wheel, under the expert eye of one of our teachers.

Then, you will have a chance to hand-building – a fun opportunity to truly get creative, and shape a small object from just your hands and the clay.

You are very welcome to take your wheel-thrown or hand-built work home on the day. Once dry it will be very brittle but you can paint with PVA glue at home to keep it a little longer. Alternatively, you might choose to leave your work for us to recycle the clay.

What to expect

This is not a traditional pottery class. In the limited time of the session, our aim is to focus on the process and the group experience, giving participants an opportunity to dive into pottery, get messy, and reconnect with earth and mud.

Prepare to get messy! Clay comes out of clothes in the wash easily. We recommend you wear loose, comfortable clothing, and not your Sunday best. Wear shoes which are wipeable.
