Coronavirus Update

19th March 2020

Dear All,

We are writing to you in regards to the current situation and Upper Court’s policy in relation to COVID-19.

In these extremely testing times and the need for social distancing or even isolation, we understand you will want to enquire about your booking with us.

With the government’s advice to cut down on non essential travel, unnecessary contacts and extra emphasis on protecting vulnerable groups, your holiday with us may be affected. Under these extenuating circumstances, in order to ensure peace of mind we can offer some extra flexibility.

If you require, reservations made on or before 14/3/2020 for Upper Court, with check in dates between 16/3/2020 to 8/6/2020 (this covers the recommended 12 weeks for social distancing for those in vulnerable groups) can be rescheduled to alternative dates in 2020 or 2021, that fall within the same price band.

If the rescheduled dates you choose fall into a higher price band then you will be required to pay the additional amount.

Sadly, we cannot offer refunds at this stage as per our Terms & Conditions, however, you may have purchased insurance for cancellation at the time of booking, in which case you should be able to make your claim.

We will review and monitor the situation for summer bookings and beyond. Currently if you have only paid a deposit to date, and it transpires that you need to alter plans due to government guidelines, then we will accept the remaining balance when it is due ( 8 weeks prior to booking) and have it as a credit for some time in 2021 for the same price band.

If due to high levels of uncertainty you choose to cancel your booking and have not got cancellation insurance, then unfortunately you would lose your deposit.

We would really like you to reschedule so that we can welcome you to Upper Court later this year or in 2021.

We fully appreciate how difficult and disappointing this is for everyone, please do get in touch with us so that we can discuss the best option for you and offer alternative dates.

We do hope that the situation improves quicker than predicted so we can all recommence our lives and think about holidays and travelling again and that we can welcome you to Upper Court in the near future.

Thank you for your patience and understanding at this unprecedented and challenging time .

Kind regards,
Upper Court Team
