This charming bolthole, a favourite with couples and business travellers, is situated in the attic of the elegant Manor House, home to the Herford family. Access is through the main Manor staircase, and then another, narrower flight of stairs.
The Attic Flat gives you a cosy double bedroom, plus an additional single bed in the studio living space. A cot can be placed in either space upon request.
The open plan studio-style living space, with a kitchenette at one end, a table, and the aforementioned single bed, is tastefully furnished in an eclectic modern style. Both the bedroom and the living space are attic room, so the eaves give the ceiling a sloping shape, higher in the middle, but rather low on the sides.
The kitchenette in the living space is small but practical, with an under-counter fridge with freezer draw, a cooker with four hobs and an electric oven, a sink, a microvawe oven, an electric kettle, and enough cutlery, crockery, and glassware for up to 4 people.
The adjoining bathroom has a shower over the bath, a WC, and a basin.
The windows give you views of our grounds and St. Nicholas church, allowing you to enjoy the charming English countryside atmosphere from above.
The Attic Flat now also gives you its own outdoor seating area in the garden, with wonderful lakeside views. The seating area has a table and chairs for easy living sunny days, and a small barbecue to enjoy outdoor meals.
The Attic Flat is ideal for a couple or a small family, and it is also suitable for business travellers looking for a country retreat with quick access to the M5, Tewkesbury (4 miles), Worcester (20 miles), Oxford (1 hour) and Birmingham (1 hour).
Please note dogs are not allowed in the Manor House.
