Frequently asked questions

Breakfast is optional, not included in the room rate. It's served in the manor dining room and can be added when you book or during your stay. The manor rooms are bed-and-breakfast in style, there are no kitchen facilities in the rooms themselves.
Yes. The individual manor house rooms have no minimum stay, so a single night is fine. Minimum stays apply only to the cottages and to exclusive use of the whole estate.
They suit adults and older children. We don't recommend the manor rooms for children aged two to six, the house and its furnishings aren't set up for younger ones. Families with small children are far better suited to the cottages, which have the space and the play area in the grounds.
You can. The five rooms sleep up to 14 between them, and the Lake Room and Red Room interconnect, which works well for a family or two couples travelling together. For larger numbers, the manor can be combined with the cottages for exclusive use of the estate, up to 43.
Not in the manor house rooms, these are kept dog-free. If you're travelling with a dog, book one of the cottages instead: each takes one dog, at £10 per dog per night.
